Christmas pudding, traditionally served as part of a British Christmas Day dinner!  Stuffed full of dried fruits that have soaked in brandy, mixed with spices. More than one month matured by Christmas Day.

Small pudding (serves 1, approx 190g) - €4.50

Medium pudding (serves 2-3, approx 390g) - €8

 

Ingredients:

sultanas, raisins, currants, apple, orange juice, orange zest, butter, sugar, egg, flour, baking powder, brandy, allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, breadcrumbs, almonds.

Contains wheat products, dairy products, nuts

 

 

Cooking instructions

To steam

Put pudding in top of a steamer filled with simmering water, cover with a lid and steam for one hour; top up the water as necessary. Ensure pudding is piping hot.

To boil

Place a trivet in a pan. Place pudding on trivet. Pour boiling water into pan halfway up side of pudding bowl. Cover. Simmer for one hour, topping up the water as necessary. Ensure pudding is piping hot.

To microwave

Remove any tinfoil. Microwave on full heat for 3 minutes. Ensure pudding is piping hot.

To serve

Remove baking paper and tinfoil. Turn upside down onto plate to remove pudding from basin.
